Wednesday walkabout: Winter magic
Wednesday 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 December (11 am - 1 pm)
Winter is a magical time of year at Leighton Moss and maybe a good chance to see some of our more secretive wildlife. Cost: RSPB members: adults £2, children £1, family £4, non-members: adults £4.50, children £2, family £9. No need to book.
Feathered Friendships
Friday 3 December (10.30 am onwards)
On your own and fancy having a more sociable time at Leighton Moss? Then
during your visit why not meet up with other nature lovers and form some new feathered friendships while you explore our nature trails together. Meet at the main entrance door of the visitor centre at 10.30 am - then get your entry pass to the reserve before going to the cafe, watching some wildlife, or whatever takes your fancy!
Leighton Moss Wildlife Explorers Club
Saturday 4 December 10 am - 12 noon
Our Leighton Moss Wildlife Explorer Club is a great way to find out more about all that crawls, flutters and even slithers! With games, wild days out and more. Leighton Moss sketch club
Saturday 4 December
Join us to sketch (doodle and scribble) the wonderful birds and wildlife. The club is untutored, just bring along your own doodling equipment to take out with you on the reserve. Costs: Free for RSPB members, £3 group entry charge for non- members. All Welcome! Please get your entry passes on arrival at the visitor centre, and then we will meet in the cafe at 10.30 am - finish when you like.
Christmas meal
Tuesday 7 December (7- 9.30 pm)
Enjoy a delicious three course, home-cooked Christmas meal with some festive entertainment (a pre-booked veggie option is available and B.Y.O bottle). There will be a chance to do some Christmas shopping too. Booking and payment in advance essential. Cost: £17 (RSPB members £15).
