Starlings at Leighton Moss

Date: 17-21 November

This year staff and volunteers at RSPB Leighton Moss are running a ‘Starling Watch' from Monday 17 to Friday 21 November from 3 pm to dusk and are inviting people to come down and join them to look out for the starlings coming in to roost.

UK Mole Survey - You can help

Have you ever seen a mole? Not many people have as they are so well adapted to life underground. However most of us have seen molehills. There remarkably little information about moles and their numbers so People’s Trust for Endangered Species is carrying out MoleWatch to find out more. This is first ever national survey to investigate the distribution of what is thought to be one of Britain’s most common mammals.
